Lilly Kingsleydedicated and faithful alumLilly (Walters) Kingsley is being honored as a Point of Light for her years of dedicated and faithful service to Thomas More Prep-Marian High School. Her parents, William J. (Bill) and Fidelia (Daley Gottschalk) '36 Walters instilled a sense of duty, service and commitment in all of their children from an early age. Lil and her siblings all attended and graduated from S.J.M.A., S.F.S. or M.H.S.: Terry Walters '60, William Walters Jr. '61, Kathleen (Walters) Brenner '64, David "Bud" Walters '65, Peter Walters '68, John Walters '69, Cynthia (Walters) Kleczka '70, Lilly (Walters) Kingsley '73 and Sue (Walters) Prediger '75. After graduating from Fort Hays State University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree she earned a Masters in Art degree in 1985. She married Timothy Kingsley in 1977 and they have three children, Joshua Kingsley '99, Rachel (Kingsley) Loving 2001 and Erica Kingsley 2004. Lil served on the TMP-Marian school board for eight years, as well as volunteering with her husband Tim in many different areas within the school, such as Debate Judge, Forensics Judge, Project Graduation, ACE Auction, PTF Soup Supper, Fine Arts Booster Club, Strategic Planning Committee and the Auditorium fund raising project. They are active at Immaculate Heart of Mary as a lector, Eucharistic Minister, soup suppers, Pastoral Council and the Finance Council. Lilly's most unique contribution to the school has been the creation of Centennial artwork, brochures and her beautiful calligraphy featured on each of the senior class panels since 1983. We honor this dedicated and loyal alum for her service, love, and commitment to Thomas More Prep-Marian.
